Alejandro Villalbazo
[ メキシコ Mexico ]
Born in Mexico City in 1970. Performs BA (Hons) and MA in Visual Arts at the ENAP-UNAM, with a concentration in painting and graphic respectively, has attended numerous specialized courses in the field of painting, printmaking, theory Art and Pedagogy.
He has been a fellow of various institutions which include: FONCA (Young Artists), and UNAM Postgraduate Program of Incentives for the Creation of FOCAEM in the category of creators (2007 and 2008). In 2010 entered the National System of Art Creators of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts. Collaborate as a teacher in the Master of Arts & Design at the UNAM graduate and has worked in various public and private institutions at higher level, as a teacher, supervisor, tutor and jury. He illustrated numerous publications in Mexico and abroad. Currently develops as a producer and researcher plastic and visual independent (PhD in Arts & Design by UNAM), and coordinator of the Workshop Production and Graphic Research LA PINTADERA, founded in 2003. His work has received numerous awards and recognitions, shape multiple collections of Museums Mexico and abroad. His artistic production has been developed primarily to the experimental investigation of processes in the printed art, alternative book, multimedia processing, video, installation art and eat.
